Hello, I'm Mike.
I'm a creative director and art director with a graphic design background. I cut my teeth at a couple of design shops here in Wisconsin before taking on the role of art director and then advancing to creative direction. I've managed various sized groups from smaller 4 and 5 person creative departments to my most recent group of twenty very talented, art directors, designers and writers. I have a very solid work ethic, I don't shrug off any stage of a project from concept to production, in fact I enjoy the process from start to finish. I enjoy working on a team, whether that means a single writer partner or several people across specialties. 2020 has given me the extraordinary opportunity to hone my skills by working with partners across the country and discover new ways to communicate and collaborate successfully.
When I'm not working you can find me out in the back yard with my wife Natalie and our two dogs, HANK! and Lil' e. I also enjoy a good run, and since acquiring an Apple watch, I've gotten just a little bit geeky about it. I'm also quite fond of a decent cup of coffee, a good story or a scary one a bit more. I draw, screen print and do a little woodcut and linoleum printing as well.
