Chamber music with a bang! This is a group of world class chamber musicians who gather every summer to play a handful of concerts in south central Wisconsin. The group is a eclectic group of musicians who only ask that you don't take classical music so seriously and simply enjoy the show. Playing mostly compositions from less known or more contemporary composers BDDS is committed to educating the community on the accessibility of the classics by keeping their message a little less than conventional.
The big splash for Bach D&DS every year was the poster series. Every year it seemed that the request of irreverence to the stiffness and stuffiness of classical music got dialed up. In addition to posters we also did banner ads, print ads in the local entertainment paper and a direct mailer. this particular year make the cover of Communication Arts Design Annual, the Print Design Annual as well as an honorable mention in the One Show
This years theme was the Summer of Love and the design took lead giving a nod to the gig poster of the 1960 most commonly done by Wes Wilson.
