Kettle Range Meats is a small, neighborhood butcher that only deals directly with local ranchers who specialize in organic and grass-fed cattle. Their mission is to be butcher shop like the ones that once dotted neighborhoods all across Wisconsin. One that provide their community with quality, locally sourced and produced meats and provisions..
The identity harkened back to that era when you could walk down the street to your local butcher. As the butcher shop provided a variety of meats, there was an effort to not use just one type of livestock in the logo, but provide a variety, similar to the offerings available.
Signage for the outside of the building was produced as workers took to the build out of the shop. These were hung on a large red brick wall that faced heavy traffic, as well as in the windows for pedestrians to see.
We also provided a design for a fleet of refrigerated vans. Not only were Kettle Range products available in the neighborhood shop, but they could also be found in smaller neighborhood groceries.
Once open, the exterior wall got a new design. large poster like these were checker-boarded in a large section, not only explaining the mission of the shop, but also giving a nod to the days of posting placards.
A handbill was designed to hand out at trade shows as well as placed at neighborhood restaurants, coffee shops and the groceries that carried Kettle Range product.
