The Madison Farmers Market which takes place on the Square every Saturday from the middle of April to the middle of November is one of the largest local farmers markets in existence. It's a local tradition that invites folks from all over the world to grab a coffee and pastry and take the slow stroll around the Capital while sampling everything local Wisconsin has to offer
The tone and feel give a nod to the days when it was more common for farmers and artisans to set up shop in local markets to sell their wares. The copy is boastful and extravagant while speaking about the simple offerings, giving them what I, and many of the people who make the slow journey around the market, the respect they truly deserve.
